Minimized Personal Data Collection

- We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal identifiers.
Local Data Storage (On-Device)
All data created or managed within the App is stored exclusively on your device:
- Media Files: Images or videos you add are saved locally in the App's sandbox directory.
- App Settings: Your preferences are stored locally using iOS-native storage (UserDefaults, SwiftData).
- AppGroups: We use AppGroups to enable different parts of the app to work together on your device — such as the main app, blocking shields, and usage report widgets. This is a standard iOS feature that keeps all data on your device only.
Apple Family Controls & Screen Time Data
The App uses Apple's native Family Controls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity frameworks to provide its core functionality (blocking apps and displaying usage reports).
- We do not have access to your browsing history, specific app usage data, or any statistics.
- All report views are generated and calculated in a separate process (Apple native Device Activity Report extension).
- Local Processing: All usage data is processed by the iOS operating system and presented to you via system-generated views. This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to the Developer.
Payments, Subscriptions & RevenueCat
The App offers In-App Purchases and Subscriptions processed via trusted third-party services:
- Apple App Store: All financial transactions are processed by Apple Inc. We do not collect or store credit card numbers, billing addresses, or any financial information. Your purchase history is managed by Apple according to their Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) to facilitate subscription validation, receipt processing, and restoration of purchases.
Third-Party Analytics
We use Apple's App Analytics, a built-in service provided by Apple. This service provides us with aggregated, anonymous data — such as number of downloads, app crashes, or sessions.
This data is only collected if you have opted in to share diagnostic and usage information with app developers in your iOS Settings.
Global Compliance & Your Rights
Since we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, most data protection rights (access, rectification, or deletion requests) are not applicable to our service.
However, you maintain full control over your local data and purchases:
- Delete all app data by deleting the App from your device.
- Reset your settings within the App at any time.
- Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.
Age Requirements
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since the App does not collect personal data, age verification is not required.
If you are under 18, please ensure you have parental consent before making any in-app purchases. Parents and guardians: if you believe your child under 13 is using the App and you have concerns, please contact us at support@luaro.app.
Data Retention & Deletion
All data stored by the App remains on your device indefinitely until you choose to delete it.
Device Deletion: When you delete the App, all locally stored data (settings, preferences, media files) is permanently removed.
Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. You will also be informed about changes within the App.
